We’re currently hiring Licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) to support the Adult Evaluation and Review Services (AERS) program—a state-mandated initiative that helps functionally and chronically disabled adults and children remain independent.

🛠 What You’ll Do as an AERS Nurse
As a 1st Choice RN, you’ll serve as a trusted guide and advocate, shaping how clients interact with support systems and access life-changing resources:
Conduct Comprehensive Assessments
Visit clients in their homes, analyze medical and psychosocial needs, and identify appropriate services.
Develop Personalized Care Plans
Empower clients to maintain independence through tailored home and community-based service recommendations.
Coordinate and Connect
Refer clients to vital resources, consult with professionals, and ensure seamless service delivery.
Champion Client Autonomy
Advocate for rights, promote self-determination, and ensure fair access to care.
Document for Impact
Maintain accurate records that inform decisions and strengthen the AERS program’s effectiveness.
🕒 Work Schedule & Compensation
Minimum Commitment: 35 hours per week
Location: Must be willing to travel throughout Baltimore City, Maryland
👩⚕️ Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking RNs who bring both skill and soul to their work:
Valid State of Maryland RN license (ASN minimum)
At least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical, geriatric, or pediatric case management
Strong assessment skills and a personalized approach to care
Independent, adaptable, and mission-driven
Clear, compassionate communicator
Comfortable with electronic medical records
Committed to social justice and client empowerment
Able to pass a background investigation
Reliable transportation and a valid Class C Maryland driver’s license
